Dean’s creative streak shines in his abilities behind turntables, for many years a long standing resident DJ for Avant Garde, cutting his teeth playing across London amongst the most noted artists in Electronic Music, from lengthy warm up sets for the likes of Âme, Cristian Loffler, Kiasmos, Jan Blomqvist, Agoria, Maceo Plex, to closing at a packed Electric Brixton for Apparat. Most notable booking to date was Kiasmos supporting DJ at the iconic South Bank Centre, a line up curated by Robert Smith from “The Cure” called Concrete Lates. Typical selections (depending on time place and location) are Deep House infused. Floating through what feels like a guided tour in mindfulness, with each angelic emotive melody mixed at the perfect phrasing of the next, creating an effortless balanced journey.
