A hobby of 25+ years has served up opportunities to DJ across the globe, from humble beginnings in Wales (UK) to Europe, Ibiza, Australia and beyond! A previous 2001 runner-up spot in Muzik Magazine’s 'Bedroom Bedlam' competition behind Paolo Mojo, David has held previous residencies with Welsh outfit TimeFlies, as well as hosting his own nights - Funktion & The Rare One - in Aberystwyth (West Wales), playing alongside some greats over the years - Andy C, Evil Nine, Orbital, Stanton Warriors to name but a few. He even coaxed Calvin Harris to a former barn in mid-Wales for one 1,000+ capacity event just as his Rhianna remix went global! His style is a blend of progressive house, house and breaks... with a gentle lean into the deeper, more proggy side of things. Currently resident with Cardiff's Shake The Horse - a collective of like-minded dance music lovers who promote events in innovative locations around south Wales.
