Glasgow native David Howie has been DJ'ing since the age of 16 and after taking a 10 Year break he launched Container Studios in 2020 as a space for local DJ's to rehearse and live stream. The business grew quickly and in 2021 expanded into filming DJ sets at the studios , helping to promote the artist and the studio simultaneously. Keen to build the studio around promoting and supporting the DJ's who use it, David launched his mirco events concept Container Studios Presents: which are hour long videos of local DJ's performing in the studio with a small live crowd. Recently this has grown further with the studio hosting regular nights called Intermodal featuring well known Glasgow DJ's from the biggest stages and booths in Scotland.
