Dash (UK)
Biografía
Dash’s journey began at 16, learning to mix on a battered Technics 1200 and a makeshift two-channel setup. A homemade mixtape soon earned him his first club slot, opening a monthly Cape Town night, and by 1999 he was playing across the city’s lounges, clubs, and beachfront cafes — including Piano Lounge, More, Chilli & Lime, Jet Lounge, Café Dharma, and Baraza.
After co-running his own deep house night and joining a seven-strong collective curating events for Cape Town’s diverse student crowd, Dash moved to London, picking up gigs in Camden, Clapham, and Brixton. He later became a regular daytime selector at an annual festival in North Manchester before relocating once again to Norfolk, where he has become part of Norwich's vibrant music scene.
Reconnecting with the ever-evolving South African house sound, Dash now blends those roots with global deep house influences — music that builds patiently, moves with emotion, and feels just as right under the sun as it does deep in the night.
