Having been immersed in the scene since the late 2000's, Dan is no stranger to electronic music. His passion for house music began as a content writer and sound savant for the NYC-based electronic music blog Silverlake to Soho where he interviewed DJ’s/producers and curated his weekly showcase Fuego Fridays that featured the best releases in the scene. Initially inspired by the underground tech house music from the labels Cadenza and Suara, his sound further evolved with his experiences living in Detroit and Miami. Although his role in sound curation and content took a momentary back seat to pursue his career as a physician, Dan has returned to the scene as a DJ, donning the moniker as Dáno to bring listeners the best ‘fuego’ from the organic, deep, tech, minimal and progressive house soundscapes."
