..transforming her perspective on music. From then on, Danielle set about translating over 20 years of classical training into her newly awoken passion. In 2005 her hard work and determination began paying off. After her very first club gig in January, she moved on to dual residencies in Boston and NYC, and by March debuted at the Miami Winter Music Conference. Danielle built on this promising start, playing regularly throughout the US and South America, before going on to play her first European gigs. She began releasing music in 2008, both digitally and on vinyl, through a number of US and EU record labels. Becoming known for her unique minimalistic take on techno, Danielle's artistic presence was quickly recognised. Combining idiosyncratic sounds with percussive detail to create animated bass patterns and melodies, she moved away from the established NYC sound towards a more stripped back, raw and organic form of dance music. With an increasing demand in Europe, including her fist gigs on the festival circuit, in 2012 Danielle based herself in Berlin for the summer months. Seeing an opportunity to focus on her musical career, she relocated permanently in 2015. Since making the switch Danielle has balanced DJing and production, playing regularly throughout Berlin and beyond, her Friedrichshain studio offering her sanctuary from a hectic calendar. Keeping this balance allows Danielle to continually road-test new work, ensuring her productions always have the dancefloor in mind.
