Daniella DeLuna
Biografía
To hear Daniella DeLuna is to enter a cathedral built of sweat, latex, and moonlight—a place where the divine is loud and everything, even grief, dances. Born from Chicago’s drag and club scene and immersed in queer rave and dance music culture around the world, DeLuna draws sonic influence from jackin’ house, industrial, riot grrrl, EBM and dark wave. Their first release, Angel 6 will hit all major streaming platforms on November 1, 2025 via Disctechno.
A shapeshifter and quiet architect of nightlife, DeLuna emerges from the pulse of the underground. A visual artist first, they fuse underground fashion and club aesthetics with wry nods to pop art, kink, and horror. Their work channels escapist fantasy through a retrofuturist lens, dissolving the boundaries between glamour, grit and surrealism.
Since 2015, DeLuna has been designing soundscapes for installations and personal film projects, and collaborating with producers such as Mark Grusane and Jo Control. Daniella’s evolving solo practice bridges dance music and ritual: from the rattle of a chain to the shimmer of a disco ball, expect breathy vocals, rhythmic stomps and layered double entendres - music that seduces as it summons.
