Daniela Cast is a producer and DJ born in Puerto Madryn, Argentina in 1985. At the age of 3, she was quickly captivated by her godmother's old record collection, an early step towards her love for music and vinyl. Daniela started playing professionally in 2007 and has left a mark with her elegant and distinct sound, releasing on labels such as RUTA5 (label of Dandy Jack, Sonja Moonear). In 2011, she studied at EMBA (School of Music in Buenos Aires) which further enhanced the musical background of such a talented well-rounded artist. Daniela´s DJ sets are a blend of microhouse, house, minimal, techno and everything in between. Groove and more groove define what her mixes are all about. Vinyl-only Dj with a forward thinking selection, Daniela deeply connects with the crowd and creates a unique atmosphere embracing deep and funky sounds with a fusion of the contemporary and the old school, keeping the dance floor on their toes. Now residing in Berlin for six years, Daniela plays regularly at the legendary Club Der Visionaere and Hoppetosse. As well as across Europe and overseas to America and Australia (in clubs such as S.A.S.H. in Sydney, Breakfast Club in Melbourne and others). For over a decade, Daniela ́s consistency in playing/producing top quality music has made her a staple in the electronic scene. In 2019, Daniela founded Cat Hat Records, her own parties of Music & Art, which take place in Berlin ́s beloved Club Der Visionaere; bringing smiles and full on vibes every summer. She has released on Ruta5, Drumma Records, Musica Lunar, What Now Becomes, and more.
