As a teen, Dani Boom spent some time in Europe where he was exposed to the rave scene. He returned to his home land of Colombia in the 90’s where he became one of the architects of the Bogota rave scene. He is more widely known as the co-founder, producer and Dj of one of Colombia’s most explosive live acts, Systema Solar who have garnered support from the likes of Gilles Peterson and Lefto. Over the years he has produced a string of releases under his own name, fusing traditional Colombian sounds with techno beats and is a regular on the club and festival circuit in Colombia and Latin America.
