Stanley was born and raised in Malaysia, and is currently based in Manchester where they discovered and fell in love with electronic music. Their sound is grounded in queer club culture history, but expresses it through the lens of their personality and personal perspective resulting in a joyous high-low approach to electronic music. He is the founder and resident of ROJAK, a queer party that focuses on platforming and celebrating LGBTQI people of colour. He previously supported bookings and production of events at Partisan Collective, a not-for-profit DIY music venue and community space. He is a Factory International Sounds 2023 artist development programme fellow.
