This denomination comes in memory of his industrial origins as a welder, profession he abandoned to study music and to be solely dedicated to the experimentation with synthesizer sounds and acoustic destruction in general. Dan Böhler has become known for his brutal live acts with modular synthesizers. His Live has evolved in techno parties such as Structured, System 8 or Quixotes Techno Dystopia. He has also performed in clubs like UTOPIA, The Jungle Dance Floor, Jimmy Gasteiz o Agora Club. As a producer he has published work in record labels such as Geométrika FM and Newrhythmic Records, and he has recently released his first reference in vinyl along with Stanislav Tolkachev and The TransHumans at Archaic Print record label. Besides producing he has also been in charge of mastering a fair amount of Djs from the deepest of the underground scene in Madrid. An usual collaborator on Geométrika FM, he is usually in charge of mastering process the mayority of the published work from this record label in Madrid. However Dan Böhler does not only do techno, he has also recently performed as Primal:active a new AKA with which he explores styles such as Industrial, EBM, Acid, Electro, Noise, Post Punk. The goal is to include these sounds in his next productions to be published in vinyl format.
