Damian Kuro, the brain child of a musician and producer from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. After moving to California on his own at the age if 19. Kuro uncovered a new found purpose. One which urged him to share his sounds with the world. Rythms and musicality, channeled through the gifts of his ancestors pushed him to articulate the dichotomy emotions caused by years of oppression, suffering and colonial rule. Kuro’s music is a statement to a world which so often pushes his people to the corners. A world that ignores truth. In this world of noise. Kuro’s music is a deafening silence. Kuro - darkness, dark, black. Before light it was dark. Before noise there was silence. Before everything it was Kuro.
