D!SHA BIO (2024) D!SHA is a nomadic Turkish singer, songwriter, music producer, and DJ currently based in San Francisco. Her musical journey began with professional opera training and performing in polyphonic choirs in Turkey and the Czech Republic. While pursuing her studies at the University of Central Lancashire in the UK, D!SHA took center stage as a first soprano in renowned musicals, including Rent, Sweeney Todd, West Side Story, Les Misérables, and Hairspray. “Following her studies, she gained admission to the prestigious Berklee College Of Music's Professional Music/Vocal Performance program. D!SHA’s early career included performing with, leading live bands in Ankara, Turkey, and managing international artists and opera companies for festivals hosted by the Directorate General of Turkish Opera and Ballet. Her artistic journey then took her aboard Carnival Cruises, where she toured the globe as a showband singer, performing with top-tier musicians in destinations across the Caribbean, South America, Europe, and North America. Over the past seven years, D!SHA has shifted her focus to music production and started off the new year with a New Age/Meditation single called "Now & Here" to emphasize in the now. Her debut cross-genre album, blending her diverse influences, is set to release in early 2025. Living in San Francisco, a global hub for dance music, D!SHA has also carved out a vibrant career as a DJ. Her passion for electronic and world music, coupled with her extensive exploration of sound, fuels her ability to craft immersive and dynamic musical journeys. Known for her eclectic taste, energetic stage presence, and ability to curate unforgettable experiences, D!SHA is a rising force in the global music scene.
