The past two years have seen D.Mo solidify his own musical direction with his “Ripple Effect” EP on Howitzer Records, numerous floor-filling remixes, and a slew of independent releases. This includes the single “Smoke and Mirrors”, which was previously showcased on Bass Coast’s “12 Days of Bass Coast” compilation album. D.Mo’s sonic palette seamlessly shifts between ethereal, airy moments, and hefty low end groove. This style has brought him across Canada performing at many festivals and clubs including Bass Coast, Samsara, and Neon Jungle. For a decade, D.Mo has sought to connect people through music beyond his own artistic pursuit: acting as an engineer & producer for other artists, curator and promoter of countless events, and a community builder throughout his life. Whether on stages across Canada, in the studio with other artists, or simply on the dance floor with other listeners, he leverages powerful sound systems to bring people together through bassline driven connection.
