Biografía

NYC-to-London transplant D.D. Curry is a Thai-American dance music producer, DJ and label owner based in London and Brooklyn, New York. He is a co-owner of labels Faux Poly and Fortune Signal, as well as his own imprint Working Rhythms. His collaboration with Scottish artist Panooc yielded tracks included on Logic1000's Mixmag Cover Mix and subsequent compilation, as well as the duo's Fortune Signal 4-tracker, 'Give Some EP.' Curry's solo debut, 'Resolve EP,' came out in 2022 on Y4 Collective, followed by his 2023 UK garage-inspired double A-side single, 'How I Roll / You Got This' on Fortune Signal. Curry’s productions have been supported by the likes of Logic1000, Nikki Nair, Man Power, Mr. Redley, Ben Gomori, and more. With his eclectic tastes rooted in classic American house, UK bass and garage, and dubby broken beat techno, D.D. Curry has brought his genre-hopping blends to his former party series Feel Free NYC, his DJ residency at Brooklyn's Jupiter Disco club, and such radio outlets as Balamii, The Lot Radio, Voices Radio, Netil Radio, and AAJA. Curry is also active in the arts community and has created music for the 2020 multimedia art piece "Tapis Roulant" by Kat Sullivan and Cassandra Trenary, commissioned by American Ballet Theatre, and the dance film "Fuir" by Lloyd Knight, commissioned by Guggenheim Works & Process.
