Cr鉻, simultaneously a 3D Visual Artist and DJ, embodies a style that is both sacred and provocative. Emerging from the chaotic and restless party scene of contemporary Taipei, their presence can be found across diverse venues. They have shared stages with G2G, Australia’s celestial label CLAIR, Bulma (Suicid Club), Miss Jay, LiuLee, and more. Cr鉻 has also performed internationally—invited in 2023 to Seoul’s Modeci alongside the fashion-record label theinternatiiional and Rave Racers, in January 2024 to Hong Kong for a collaborative experimental music event with local collective VNWAVE, and in 2025 at Hangzhou Dong’s New Year’s Eve showcase. Their sonic identity has also been broadcast on forward-thinking online radios such as HKCR and HER, delivering music that is abrasive, experimental, and violent, yet never losing its sacred undertone. Musically, Cr鉻 centers their practice on electronic music fused with narrative composition. Rather than adhering to fixed genres, they emphasize the dynamic emotionality of sound—ranging across Experimental, Industrial, Bass, Electronic, and extending into situational Noise and soundtrack-like scores. Drawing from both visual and auditory experiences, Cr鉻 forges a unique performance vocabulary, treating each sonic element as a narrative unit. They create tension between chaos and order, deftly employing frenzied bass, dramatic silences, fragmented noise, and fluid melodies. Their command of the dancefloor’s energy is precise and fearless, capturing and directing the flow of collective consciousness. Through cycles of constructing and deconstructing sound, Cr鉻 seeks to evoke irregular, subconscious emotions that lie beneath the surface of awareness.
