Music is love and WE love music.... our motto: donate people a laugh...thats it!! ------------------------------------------------------------------ ALPHA B & AMILCARE Alpha B & Amilcare are Zurich based Alfonso Bianco and Ibiza-based Antonio Di Benedetto. It was the year 2006 when these two guys got to know each other. Thanks to the Number One Record Store, managed by Donato Capozzi, this Disco / House spark between Alfonso and Antonio broke out. Even since then the guys spent many afternoons in the Rue du Soleil studios listening to new and old beats. In 2007 the two italians got the opportunity to work for Cafe del Mar in Ibiza. That was when things started to really turn fast and great. They got the chance to play in diffrent hot spots in Ibiza like at Privilege, Pacha Hotel, Blue Marlin, Private Villas, Ushuaia and also to perform directly from Ibiza Global Radio every Thursday. Together they are what one calls “one”, musically one. Their kind of sound is influenced and switchs between disco, rock, pop, deep, house and dub. For those who want to experience the real nature of Alpha B & Amilcare we warmly suggest you to visit one of their sets. Dancing and screwing on the mixer, celebrating the vision of the music of the world of the big Italian guru and the curly Amilcare. ALPHA B is member of "Rue du Soleil", exclusively produced by the legendary "Café del Mar" in Ibiza. The band was formed by Alfonso, Dragan, Yavuz and Claudio in Zürich/Switzerland in 1999. The musical interests of the four guys lead them to found their own recording studio. In 2003 they signed their first recording agreement and released the album "Dreaming of". After a good impact on the media they began to act in live shows in diffrent clubs such as the Kaufleuten, the Labor Bar, the City beach, the Privilege, the Pachá, Space, Cool, KM 5, the Oasis and recently at the legendary "Café del Mar" and the "sun sea bar" on Ibiza island. They also had live performances at the Geo, the Singita Milagro Beach in Rome, the Kamakama and many more locations in Italy and all around the world. Their second album "Essential Feelings" was released in 2005. It was then their individual interests that drove the four guys to take separate ways. Three years later, in 2008, "Emotions" was released, which again opened new market areas. The label was back on the road and started a tour around different countries like Brazil (Mystico), Russia (Zenit Club), Germany (Climax Institute, Bar 33, Kanzlermant, P1, Lolo) and Austria (Lutz, District 7"). "Shine" was recorded in autumn 2010 in the Rué du Soleil studios. The music in the album turns to Acid Jazz, Trip Hop, R&B but never looses it roots which are deep into Chill-out. AMILCARE’s sensitivity for sounds already started developping when he was only a little boy. Inspired by Depeche Mode, David Bowie and The Cure he started his first own productions. With keyboards and drums, he tinkered in adolescence, through to his turntables. In 1998 he had his first appearance as DJ at Bar 5 Akt, a small urban Zurich bar. Since then Antonio Di Benedetto is a name to know amongst artists and producers as he shakes the turntables of well known clubs in the european scene. He is Co-Owner of the Label “God Made Us Funky” and just released his first Album on Harley&Muscle Label, Little Angel Records and as well on Soulstar Rec.
