Amsterdam based Compound Rhythm started deejaying in 2004 after buying his first turntables, during this time the love for vinyl grew. In the first years of deejaying he got inspired by the dutch trance DJ’s, but throughout the years Compound Rhythm developed a deep affection and passion for underground techno music, with a preference for hypnotic rhythms and oldskool vibes. Transferring the rhythms to a crowd in clubs is magical to him. He played in several clubs in Amsterdam like: Paradiso, Panama Amsterdam, Club NL, Akhnaton, Sugar Facory and club Roots. Holding residencies at EAST Techno Collective (Paradiso and club Roots) and Amsterdams Most Wanted (AMW). At AMW he is hosting his weekly radio show, every Monday from 20:00-22:00, during his radio show he plays besides newly released underground techno also techno released in the 90s, preferably played form vinyl. Discovering and collecting techno vinyl has become a passion as well.
