Combo Aspik is a session band project found and led by musician, producer and DJ Magic Manfred in his hometown of Berlin. Both as DJ and musician Magic Manfred is heavily influenced by Boogie and Jazzfunk music of the late 70s and early 80s such as the music of Bernard Wright or Don Blackman or any underground Boogie gems. Combo Aspik is his attempt to bring a new sound to the dance floors inspired by that music and fusing live music and club culture.
