Comarca is what grows on the margins, what is born from the energy of raves: a project that is both musical and political. It draws from the raw power of techno and the exploratory drive of IDM, turning the dancefloor into a territory — a place for imagination and a space for resistance. With a sound that goes straight for the jugular, Comarca stands out as one of the most exciting artists to watch in Spain’s techno landscape. His debut EP, “Estabilitat Emocional,” set the foundations for a singular voice: uncompromising, emotional, and built for the physical intensity of the club. In 2023, he returned with “Cadena d’Errors” on the Valencian label Gordo Trax, an EP that confirmed his ability to turn tension, pressure, and distortion into functional weapons for the dancefloor — while leaving room for sharper, more experimental edges through remixes and collaborations. In 2024, Comarca expanded his reach internationally with “Ben Depressa / Ròtula” on Peder Mannerfelt Produktion, delivering two high-voltage cuts where grooves lock in tight and relentless, while synth hooks and warped textures creep under the skin. The release framed Comarca as a club-focused producer with a taste for the strange — direct, functional, and fiendishly detailed. And with “No Va Durar Per Sempre” (his second EP on Gordo Trax), Comarca stepped into a sharper, more distilled phase: a record that feels like a pressure-cooker release, built from late-night breakthroughs and a visceral urge to move bodies. It’s the kind of techno that doesn’t just hit hard — it stays with you. Beyond releases and DJ booths, Comarca’s vision goes further than club culture. His holistic understanding of the scene — and his belief in the dancefloor as a potential political agent — led him to develop Rave Against Repression (RAR), a collective that defends the transformative role of electronic music, the creation of safer spaces, and the conviction that the most forward-thinking electronic music can be heard anywhere — not only in major cities, but also in small towns on the outskirts of Barcelona.
