Coen’s music combines intricately woven and expertly recorded percussion with energetic beats and lashings of bass. The sound reflects a fascination with live drums and percussion from throughout the world, fused with a club-focussed sensibility designed to make bodies move. Based for many years in Manchester and now London, Coen is the enigmatic producer behind 2017’s ‘Yellah’. This was followed up in 2023 by their 8 track EP Slop, Drop & Roll on Le Motel’s Maloca records, which included DJ must-have ‘Pressure Roll’.
