Claude B
Biografía
French DJ and producer based in Berlin, Claude B made his debut on the Nantes electronic music scene in 2021, working alongside Collectif Solstice, which he co-founded. After several long years of producing hip hop, he discovered the club culture in Nantes and was immediately seduced. Motivated by the chance to perform live, Claude B began releasing his cutting-edge productions, which ranged from acid electro and incisive techno to deep, psychedelic and progressive trance. Alongside his productions, he put on a string of DJ sets and live performances in clubs in Nantes, and later in Paris with the Mauvaise Ambiance collective that grew out of TRAX magazine, which closed its doors in May 2023.
Claude B relocated to Berlin at the end of 2023 to pursue studies and join renowned producer Florian Meindl with his label FLASH Recording, allowing him to work in a production and mastering studio and take charge of some of the artistic programming for Flash Lab, a Live Stream studio devoted to electronic music. On the production side, he released there its experimental 'Newbie', a progressive dark electro/dark wave EP, published by the Arborescence label run by Enzo Grubert, his friend and former colleague at TRAX Magazine. With the Collectif Solstice, he produced his first Various Artists compilation, inviting artists such as Sour Patch Boyz and ERNA.
