Enzo Cipolletta was really young when he made his first step on the music ground as author of a radio programme introducing the best of the latest ‘80s musical avant-garde. By this time, thanks to his striking intellectual curiosity and his refined ear for music he became a real pioneer of the ‘80s emerging grooves that, from acid-jazz to trip hop, through jungle and drum & bass, moved across all the possible electronic evolutions of the genre. In the first ‘90s, when he starts his career as dj, he is immediately cheered as great explorer of new emerging music tendencies and soon he begins to cooperate with the most important national promoting groups. In 1994 he works with the Angels of Love music promoters, so that he performed side by side with the biggest names of international dance music scenery. In the 1996 starts his still existing bond with the Funk Machine, forerunners of the House music in Naples and founders of the trendy and cult S’move light bar, whose art director is Enzo Cipolletta. In the same year, following the post Detroit dance music singular evolution, Enzo Cipolletta begins the remarkable collaboration with the famous and exclusive underground night-club Velvet, an authentic source of musical experimentations, proposing the itinerant project called “Deleteria” which rapidly gains notoriety at international level. By the 1997, Enzo Cipolletta is protagonist of the black music nights in Naples as dj resident at Dry Doc, suggesting the best of the genre in productions and artists. In the 1997 he’s involved with the Art DinamiKa entertainment agency with Claudio Coccoluto as art director, he constantly alternates between the radio commitments and the several exhibitions with the most acclaimed djs in the international dance music scene. Radio Quinta Rete FM produces and broadcasts for 2 years with a twice a week frequency, the new programme created by Enzo Cipolletta in order to spread both the newborn chill-out experimentation, the successful Funk contamination of the house music known as Deep house, and the dawning of electro music. Furthermore the textile industry appears to be interested in the expressive communicative force of this creative artist and conceives the trade mark “Costello”, an intercultural project that links underground music and street ware clothes. Always on the wave of innovation, Enzo Cipolletta starts his collaboration with the Question Mark group, performing in the cult dance music clubs throughout Italy . In 1998 opens his first Ibiza summer schedule; Enzo Cipolletta performs in every dance party tagged “Made in Italy” at Pacha and his lounge set fascinates the Cafè del Mar audience, the world chill music icon. Through the years this itinerant entertainment project “Made in Italy” leads the dj to play in the best clubs of the main Italian cities as well as at Discoteque Club of Barcellona in the 2004. In 2005 he is in Formentera where his expressive force is definitely confirmed: performing regularly at Km 10.7 Vista y Sol with affirmed djs like Josè Padilla and Willie Graff at sunset or shaking the Xueno dance floor, the coolest island disco, “a la tarda de la noche”.
