Santiago Madrid, music obsessed and electronic dance music artist, I studied violin until I was 15 years old. At 12, a curiosity for music production awakened in me, and at 17, I released my first song under the Swedish label ‘Fat Line Music’. Since then, it has been an interesting and emotional challenging journey, It has taken me to play at iconic venues such as EsParadis (Ibiza, Spain) and A’dam Tower (Amsterdam, Netherlands), to perform in cities like Basel (Switzerland), Lisbon (Portugal), Paris (France), and Munich (Germany). I´ve had the privilege that prodigious names in music as David Guetta, Tiesto, Bob Sinclar include my songs in their shows, also my music has been played at Ultra Music (Miami), Tomorrowland (Belgium), Lollapalooza (Brasil). Since I was a kid, music has taken me out of dark places. I grew up in a violent environment, where some criminal gangs used children for abusive purposes to resolve their gang wars. In this context, choosing music, carrying an instrument at my back, being in a music school and meeting my first teachers, helped me to be respected and stand out of the rest, also allowed me to face fears, overcome anxiety and panic attacks, let go situations and people, put myself first without running over others, and above all, try to create more than what I destroy.
