Christopher Tubbs is a DJ, producer, label consultant and record label owner. His co-productions as Tubbs and Atlantic Conveyor have resulted in strong support from luminaries such as Gilles Peterson, Jazzanova, Mark Ronson and Norman Jay. His vinyl-only record label Untracked has been described as “super-boutique” and “London’s answer to Whatever We Want”, and boasts Ashley Beedle, Red Rack’em, The Off Key Hat and up-and-coming star Frank Booker within it’s artist roster. Christopher is also well known for his video interview blog ‘Heads Down’ and his various broadcasting obligations across the globe. This has accumulated with CT being asked to pilot ‘Heads Down’ as a prime time radio show for the BBC’s 6 Music. His unique sound has found him DJing everywhere: from Paris basements to Chanel parties in Monte Carlo. It’s a sound that unearths the hidden classics from the last thirty years of dance music: from ultra-rare African disco to the latest deepness from New York City. This winter Christopher will be releasing a new album project as The Order Of January, alongside The Nextmen’s Bradford Ellis.
