From his first parties in 2010 at a very young age, Christian was fascinated with electronic sounds and from that moment he began to discover the world that was behind the music. In 2014, after several years of attending most underground parties in Lima, he discovered the tools that were behind the djs booth: turntables and vinyl records, that was the beginning of a dead end. From that time he has been digging, collecting and playing records. Influenced by minimal house, breaks and techno music in 2016 he decided to create a collective called .thood with the purpose of supporting and promoting the underground culture of electronic music in Lima through parties, a series of podcasts and live sets from new upcoming artists. He had the opportunity to play at Lima’s best underground parties such as ish, Vao-Vao and at local clubs such as Fuga, Jabberwocky and El Dragon. His passion led him move to Barcelona in 2018 to study electronic music production at SAE. Now he is working in a new project called Gamine that will be released in 2019 in which he’ll present new artists with atypical sounds.
