Christian Ackermann

Christian Ackermann, aka Huggi, is an experienced DJ who discovered his love of music at a young age. He bought his first turntables and vinyls at the age of 14, and just two years later, at 16, he began his career as resident DJ at Café Lebit in Leipzig. From there, his musical career took off and he conquered local and national clubs and festivals. As a resident at Club Praxis/Waldheim, CL-Gattersburg Gr. and Lagerhof Leipzig, Christian quickly established himself in the scene. His path led him to legendary gigs in clubs such as Distillery Leipzig, Club 8. Mai in Chemnitz, Club-Rohtabak, Velvet Leipzig, Nasty Love Club Dresden, VIP-Lounge Eisenberg, Palais Club Munich and Paradox Augsburg. Festivals such as the Full Moon Festival Ibiza, Moonbeach Weißenfels, Vision-East Leipzig and Liquid-Sunday Tautenhain are also among his references. Christian Ackermann is an experienced DJ and radio presenter from Germany who has been shaping dance floors and radio waves with his passion for electronic music for years. He has made a name for himself as host and DJ of the radio show *CAM Radio* and regularly features special guests on his show, including greats such as Robert Babicz and talented newcomers like DJ Halley Seidel and DJ Gusmaske. With a varied style that combines house, techno and electronic grooves, Christian creates an unmistakable sound experience at his events and radio shows. His many years of experience behind the decks and on the microphone are reflected in performances with renowned DJs such as Extrawelt, Harry Axt aka Daniel Steinberg and Guido Schneider. Christian has performed at legendary venues such as Lagerhof Leipzig, Distillery Leipzig, Underground Ibiza and the former Werk in Berlin and regularly plays at MDR Sputnik, Fritz Berlin, Ibiza Sonic Radio and Stardust Radio Ibiza. In addition to his work at CAM Radio, Christian runs the weekly guest format *CAM Sessions on JDK Radio*, which airs every Tuesday and offers listeners exciting insights into the international electronic music scene. Christian has also established a growing DJ network for CAM Radio, allowing guest DJs to submit their sets for the show.
