Chris Shape is Cristian Camporesi an Italian producer, live performer and sound designer for over 25 years. He starts his career in some local new-wave electro bands, but his debut came in the early '90s, when the techno's wave broke in Riccione and the pyramid of Cocoricò (the biggest italian techno club) has spread it everywhere. He formed the production crew “SENSORIA”, together with dj Cirillo (Cocorico's resident dj) leaving a mark in the history of Italian and European techno-rave music with lots of productions and some hits like “Sensoria - Run of love” or “Venusia - Dream of you”. At the dawn of the new millennium, "SHAPE" nickname was born working with Dino Lenny for some of his productions included in the album DINO - MIGHT. In 2004 he started a collaboration with dj Francesco "Franz“ Spazzoli in the critically acclaimed electro duo FRANZ & SHAPE, where Chris Shape could give vent to its synth-wave and ebm roots. They played live for almost a decade in the best clubs and festivals around the world and also have cooperated with: 2 Many Djs, Tiga, Jagz Kooner, Motor (Bryan Black), David Carretta, GD Luxxe, The Hacker, Gesaffelstein, Thomas Barfod (Who made who), Julien K, Perspects, Dirk Dadavo (Neon Judgement), Mount Sims, and many others... They made an album on Relish rec. “ACCELERATION” in 2007 and lots of singles and rmx for different labels such as: Turbo, Nova Mute, Southern fried, Citizen, Bang gang, Loath rec. up to 2012. After some years spent in “research” and a new work as a music publisher, Chris Shape decided to start a solo career by doing just what he likes: techno body music. “Eat the bankers” is his first e.p.: a perfect example of powerful “not compromised” mix between techno, electro and ebm with a very special guest: Bryan Black (Black Asteroid), who gives his voice in “Eat the bankers” track.
