Chopper is a producer, DJ, multi instrumentalist and sound engineer from Dundee, Scotland, now moving between his hometown and London. His sound sits somewhere between house, acid and techno, with a focus on groove, energy and detailed sound design. A lifelong musician, Chopper brings a strong sense of musicality to both his productions and DJ sets, often blending live instrumentation with electronic elements. His releases have picked up support from some of the scene’s leading names, including a recent track reaching number two in the Beatport charts. Alongside his artist work, he is an experienced sound engineer who has worked with major festivals and internationally recognised artists, bringing a deep technical understanding to everything he does. In the club, Chopper is known for high energy, genre spanning sets that keep dancers locked in while constantly shifting direction. Well connected to the London underground, he regularly plays some of the city’s key spots, alongside international appearances in Geneva and Stockholm, where he performed at Slakhuset supporting Cristian Cracken. He also continues to build his name through regular radio appearances on stations such as Brixton Radio and Groovetank Live.
