Chingyi's sound is genre-bending, drawing influence from a range of styles including hypnotic techno, ethnic downtempo and trance. Her music is characterized by its ability to create journeys that connect external perceptions with inner landscapes of mind and psyche. Chingyi' sees music as a tool for awareness that has the potential to generate positive change in oneself and the world. Having co-hosted local festival Interlude and played at other festivals such as Omni, Pitch, Jungle Island, and Dimension 5, and played for local music collectives Distrikt, Rezonance, Y2K, Kiosky and New Wave etc. Chingyi shares her passion for music with the community. Her radio sets “Digital Trip” and “Dualism” at FMBG have received recognition from music enthusiasts. In 2023, Chingyi also had the opportunity to play at Hong Kong’s renowned underground club, Mihn 宀, opening for Johnathan Kusuma and Tornado Wallace. In addition, Chingyi has co-created embodied dance meditation events with collectives Mystic Disco and ReTribe. Through her music, a journey that allows for emotional expression unfolds into a deeper connection with oneself and others.
