Cherub420 (aka M Tran) is a 1st-gen Vietnamese American born in Anaheim, California. Blessed with a creative mother, Tran's musical expression began with piano & vocal lessons as a toddler into teenhood, while a deep-rooted respect for jazz, 90s RnB, Viet pop & new wave was influenced by family. After moving to SF in 2010, Tran utilized such influences to begin their journey of vinyl mixing. Shifting their focus to house, jungle & trance music has since elevated their vision of overlaying broad genres to revive the "clubbing" experience on a multicultural level. Their goal is to forgo "the scene" to curate a universal dance floor that is free of judgement; inclusive to all who respect all.
