Born and raised in Hong Kong, Charmy is a Brooklyn NY based artist who produces melodic electronic music. The clasically trained artist took the plunge into the universe of music production in 2022, and started releasing original music about a year later. In 2024, she was selected as one of the six distinguished femme house fellows to further her craft - a transformative organization founded by LP Giobbi and Lauren "Hermixalot" Spalding. Although new to the scene, her work has charted on Beatport New Dance, Electropop, Garage/Bassline, and Deep House releases. She produces and plays a broad range of music because she believes there is a place for all kinds of music and she wants to create pieces that tell different stories.
