Charlou is a dj-producer who co-founded Opaq Records with Steve Marie, Stephen and Mare in 2017. In 2022 he and Stephen launched S.A.C.S 89. This label stands for "Society Against Conformist System" and aims to defend uncompromising music. He also begins very early its instruction and learns very quickly the codes of the art. Forging himself a solid culture, he naturally shares the same musical sensibility that defines the identity of the label. He participated in the production of the song Melaena on Signal EP and produced alone Ros which will be released on Transgression EP for the 002 of Opaq Records. He is starting 2019 at his best with two participations on the excellent labels Lumbago Records, Griffé, and the Italian label No Tech Just Wax. His tracks are played by Anetha or Jane Fitz, to name but a few... In 2021 he released a track on the Era Ora label, with darker sounds. In 2022 he signed 4 tracks on the first vinyl of his own label, two of which were co-produced with Stephen. Ranging from synth-pop to ebm to techno, Charlou puts no barriers in his way while keeping his own signature. His podcasts reflects his ability to find rare trance / acid / ebm / new-beat records and takes the listener on an intense journey with subtle melodies, dark and sometimes mental, providing quality sounds and cultivating his own style. Warned of several performances, he proved his professionalism with sets of high quality alternating his own productions and old jewelry dating from the beautiful old time.
