After falling in love with the alternative day festivals in Cape Town, where charli/e lived for four years, she decided to give djaying a go. At first inspired by Oriental/Afrohouse, she started the DJ- duo SHACHA with her best friend Shania. Having performed at numerous venues in their hometown of Luxembourg, as well at the renowned club Galerie Kurzweil, the two are known for delivering housey and uplifting tunes behind the decks. Whilst the DJ duo remains a passionate project of hers, charli/e started to focus more on solo performances, aiming to create her own particular sound. Her sets are centered around building a high energy dance atmosphere at any given time of the party whilst sticking to groovy and melodic beats.
