If the Parisian by adoption has always carried projects in the depths of the capital like the duo Ambeyance, it is within the duo Oktober Lieber that she first shook the international scene : their only album "In Human" and months of frantic tours will eventually overcome this project as schizophrenic as flamboyant, uniting the nocturnal peoples with the goth world in a deluge of hybrid EBM, cold wave on steroids and liberated experimental. Yet, if this silent separation has left the confidants orphaned, the young woman has found the space to concretize long-cherished explorations and give shape to her exciting alias Cate Hortl, who will feed her inferno with modern italo, heavy-footed dark pop and ecstatic techno. By appropriating these registers and their contradictions, she has put together the exciting first EP “Smog”, released in the fall of 2021 on Ritmo Fatale. A little wilder than the previous one, you can now listen to her second EP “HEX”, released on June 3, 2022 on the Warriorecords label.
