Casi (UK) is an Edinburgh-based DJ and producer working in deep house with garage influences. Rooted in the Dutch scene — artists like Chris Stussy, Locklead, and M-High — with rolling basslines, swung drums, and a preference for groove over big drops. Sound is built on hypnotic, deep house roots, taking cues from Apollonia and the earlier deep house scene. Sets aren’t afraid to dig into older, classic deep cuts alongside newer material, and he’ll throw in a breakbeat now and then to shift the energy mid-set rather than sticking to one lane all night. Produces in FL Studio — tight low-end tuning, swung drum patterns, layered chords. Tracks are built for the club but hold up on a good system too, with enough detail to reward closer listening.
