The hardworking DJ from London Uk has always brought a unique style and energy to his shows and is undoubtedly one the uk's most exciting and pioneering DJ's of his generation. His DJ career took off in 2007 when he landed a residency at House of Koo's legendary event I Wanna Funk U, one of London's most popular club nights for House music revelers attracting thousands over the years. This residency exposed Carlos’s skills and technical ability capturing the ears and hearts of many right from the off which saw him land shows all over the Uk such as Liverpool, Leeds, Nottingham, Manchester and Birmingham. Launching his own club night, House is House was born in late 2010 with founder Carlos Aries and 2 partners behind the event. The club night proved to be a success and is one of the most popular events in London today. It is no secret that his club night has played a significant role in the underground scene and is highly responsible for the exposure of the underground house music in London today. Showcasing many of the well respected DJ’s and Artists some travelling from across the Globe such as New Yorks Filsonik from Desolate record label founded by (Loco Dice and Martin Buttrich) Hawai’s very own Kim Ann Foxman, to the more local talent and such as Mark Radford , Tough Love , Alex Arnout and Max Chapman. Driving the deep underground house sound, Carlos’s passion has always been to give the people the time of their life and to create amazing unforgettable moments which he has proven to do time and time again whether its live on the turntables or its promoting an epic event, the goal is always the same. Since 2008 Carlos has been playing across Europe throughout the summer season landing in Amsterdam, Barcelona, Cyprus, Marbella and holding down a residency at Kings of House in the world famous party island of Ibiza. Aswell as featuring at Uk’s Outbreak music festival 2 years in a row whilst also holding down a residency for award winning club night Sun City, one of the highlights of Carlos Aries career took place in summer of 2015 when he played at Barcelona’s I Am Global music festival which was held at the massive 12,000 capacity Illa Fantasia Waterpark which saw the likes of Amine Edge and Dance , Russ Yallop , Doorly ,Coyu, DJ EZ and even Fatman Scoop take the stage. With his popularity soaring and his love and passion for the music growing each day it was inevitable that Carlos would soon turn his hand to producing and writing his own music and In 2012 Carlos paired up with friend and music producer Ular Gray forming Twelve Minds. The dynamic duo’s innovative sound has been described as deep and hypnotic with a classic feel and it was this that first caught the eye of Kismet records in 2013 for a remix featuring two of house music’s heavy weights – Rui Da Silva & Robert Owens. Early in 2014 the duo released another remix for Rui da Silva on the 'New Lover’ EP, this track went on to be global renown DJ and radio presenter Pete Tong’s essential new tune of the month on BBC Radio1. The next release from the pair would come on Invader Records as the duo were called in for a remix on Ursa Minor’s - Earthquake EP track titled ‘ West ‘ which is a deep mystical track that captivated many minds and raised a few eyebrows. Next up came their own EP, titled ‘ Hear Me Cry’ which was released on Uk label Recess recordings with Matt Fear drafted in on the remix. Carlos has spent the majority of 2016 in the studio perfecting his sound making music for future releases in 2017 which will also be the year marking a decade of his professional career.
