It is fair to say that Carlo is a "music archaeologist" : in this very case, one of the most knowledgeable people on the planet when it comes to Italian disco records from the 70s and 80s. 2015 saw him officially reissuing a cult 1981 italian 7" record - Andromeda by Andromeda - on a 12" numbered vinyl that marked the first release on his own "Disco Segreta" imprint, including his respectful extended edit, the original 7" version as well as a remix by Italian disco pioneer Beppe Loda. Carlo had a string of top notch made-in-Italy quality releases published ever since: from the Miro-penned summer-talo cult "Stranamore" with a Flemming Dalum remix, as well as Gino Pavan's "Magico" and Susana Estrada's "Espacial" - and more lined up, that are sure to cause a storm among DJs and collectors of obscure, yet very danceable Italian disco music. Recently, he has debuted a new sublabel, ADESSO, where he'll publish "contemporary productions deserving to be released". Lover of fine sleaze, off-key singing, flanged drums, vocoders, drilling synth lines and - in general - anything that failed the charts, Carlo's selection often touches space disco and assorted Italian weirdos, as well as French, German, Spanish and other countries' disco music, all played on vinyl only, for the real deal experience, careless of any fashion.
