Carl has shared the stage with a number of renowned international artists, such as Luke Fair, King Unique, 16 Bit Lolitas, Len Faki, Secret Cinema, Thomas Penton, Neil Landstrumm, Cari Lekebusch, Joey Beltram, Guy J, Paolo Mojo, Dave Seaman, Samuel L Session and also warmed up for Charlie May and Joris Voorn. With the right attitude towards the crowd and never failing to deliver Carl also had the opportunity to play at international dance events and larger scale festivals in Malta such as Ministry of Sound, Love Sexy and Tear it Down. Carl Lautier has been DJ-ing since 2005 at the age of 19. Under the tutelage of Jewel Kid, one of Malta’s top producers, Carl’s skills as a DJ thrived along with his passion for music. At the inception of his trademark “p e r p e n d i c u l a r” events in April 2008, Mr.Lautier’s name started gaining popularity! His “perpendicular” nights have defined a new era in the local rave scene, boasting a strong and very loyal following to this day. Presently, each “perp” event, as the fans have aptly named it, has exceeded expectations, with Carl Lautier and the posse Nick & MATO at the forefront never failing to deliver. As a result, “perpendicular” continues to grow and expand its fanbase, aiming to take the crowd on a rollercoaster of climatic proportions every time. Of particular note, is Carl Lautier’s distinctive and very flexible style.
