Born in Oslo, Carina Helen (Carina Helen Høiland) began to mix vinyl in year 2002. Progressive house and Minimal was the genre's that took her on the road to the deep, tech, hypnotic grooves which now dominates her music-style. As a DJ, Carina Helen playes her mixes with sprinkles of tribal, ethnic tones and drive of never ending rhythmic techno. Giving you the ultimate underground groove. If you're in the club, or if you just want fall in to the world of music in your sofa, Carina will take you on a journey. She collaborates with many producers in Oslo, Europe and overseas. With co-producers Eric Small (Small Records) and Mudman, Carina Helén does most of the vocals and together they represent a special formula of distinctive tech-music production. Carina is a regular fixture on the line-ups in the Oslo underground club scene, being booked regularly at highly reputable venues - Villa, G10, Jaeger, Skaugum, Shared-Love and other clubs /events. She is participating in the radio shows as Modulate FM, Rauschzeit, 06am Ibiza Underground Radio, Pils og Plater, P3 etc., As A&R Director and party promoter at Small Management & Small Records, she's always hunting for new talents and creating new club concepts in Oslo.
