With his unstoppable rhythms, the prominent French producer Cardozo kicked off our summer with his latest EP on the Montpellier label Monstart. It’s clear that he didn’t take much of a holiday because, after a brilliant mix for Konbini, the prodigy is back with a new EP for the Portuguese label XXIII. Entitled Dribble Up, the release features two original tracks and two remixes by Cash From Hash and Mesqit. Our pre-release sample is the track “Puma”, featuring Ken Gohan. On this track ready to set any dancefloor on fire, the Montpelier-based producer transforms (unrecognizable) bachata elements into tarraxa and delivers a phenomenal dancehall hybrid banger.
