Growing up outside of Asheville, NC, Cam was surrounded by music. Raised on his parents’ collection of classic rock (Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin) and reggae (Bob Marley), Cam developed a taste for psychedelic, raw, and groovy sounds. As he got older, he got into southern hip-hop like Lil Wayne and UGK, forming his love for thumping bass. He got his first copy of Ableton and started composing tracks. Along with groovy elements, Cam infuses booming basslines and raw synthesizers into his “hip-hop” style house and techno.
