This is Cales & Mr Hyde (Dj, Producer, Composer, Vocalist), a person with two music personalities, source of inspiration. His Stage Name has been taken from Robert Louis Stevenson` novel: "The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde”. The same way than the book, here through music, the artist makes use of contrast and dichotomy as the essence of his work. From this, a unique artistic point of view is offered to the listener; an amalgam of sounds that revolve around darkness and light, and that inspires his live performances, as well as his producer and composer work in studio (Dualism Records, MoodyHouse, Electric Mode, My Own Beat Records). The result is an experience between the contemplative state of mind, and the total ecstasy. It´s proper then to say, that Cales & Mr. Hyde pretends to take the crowd through different states of consciousness, that create an unstoppable need to move, leading to the climax and to the union of the souls through the music. A lot has happened since the beginning: It was at home that guided by his grandparent, a music passionate collector, that everything started. Then, after his first public appearances in Bogotá - Colombia, were followed by his Dj Residence, as part of the famous Club El Divino Ibiza World Tour. Next, moving to more recent events in Miami, Dominican Republic, among others.   Nowadays, Cales & Mr. Hyde will be normally found managing his Record Label, “Dualism”, as A&R of theBasement Discos and its sub label Miura Records, at the studio working in music productions strongly supported by artists like Carl Cox, Jazzman Wax, among others, practicing as Music Business Advisor and Professor, and finally of course, at many dance floors and clubs as Resident or Guest Performer.
