Having danced in the front row at hundreds of techno events in her life, Caelestis was forced to find an alternative during the pandemic. She got her first dj controller the day the first Dutch lockdown came into force (April 2020) and, shortly after, played her first gig as 'dj Covid' at one of the outdoor raves she had been organizing. Over next years Caelestis has not only changed her dj name, but also developed her unique music style. Nowadays you will still see her dancing to techno - but now on the other side of the decks - getting crowds excited with her dark acid sounds and epic drops. She has played in venues like Toekomstmuziek, Disco Dolly, Club ROOTS, Club de With, Amsterdam's Most Wanted radio and many outdoor events, including a 3 stages mini-festival Wild Woods. She's one of the co-founders and main organizer of Sonant - a techno collective organizing monthly techno events in Amsterdam.
