Bvoice is a Cannes-based DJ, producer and multimedia curator active in electronic music since the mid-1990s. Inspired in the late 80s by Brian Eno, Harold Budd, Can, Joy Division and Einstürzende Neubauten, he began DJing in 1996 during the formative years of the underground techno movement. Over the years he has developed a distinctive sound moving between house, techno, electro, and experimental electronics. In 2002 he founded the project Midiots (Dumb Unit, Treibstoff), and later launched Bvoice & Khz, releasing on labels such as Time Has Changed, Dumb Unit and Airdrop. A track from his catalogue was selected for the official demo of Traktor by Native Instruments, whose software became an industry standard for digital DJing. His music has also been featured in Mubert’s AI-based music system. Bvoice has performed alongside artists including Sven Väth, Ellen Allien, Mathew Jonson, Max Cooper, Dasha Rush, Egyptian Lover, Afrika Bambaataa, Mad Professor, as well as French artists such as Arnaud Rebotini, Traumer, dOP and Noze. His sets and productions have been broadcast on platforms including Rinse FM and Deepmix, among others. Beyond club culture, Bvoice collaborates with contemporary art institutions and cultural organizations, including the Institut Français, MMOMA (Moscow Museum of Modern Art) and the M’ARS Center for Contemporary Art, performing and curating interdisciplinary electronic music programs. He is co-founder of the international creative communities Synthesis and Svoboda Zvuka. Within Svoboda Zvuka, the track “Fly” (with Lena Kaufman) was selected for the first round of voting at the Grammy Awards (2025/26, Best Alternative Music Performance), marking international industry recognition of the project. In his solo work, Bvoice reinterprets literary classics within contemporary electronic frameworks. A track inspired by Daniil Kharms was included in a compilation curated by Michael Mayer (Kompakt) and remixed by dOP & Masomenos, highlighting his cross-cultural artistic approach. He also contributed to the documentary Freedom Medellín, appearing alongside Juan Atkins and Joseph Capriati, reflecting his ongoing dialogue with global electronic scenes. Bvoice is the founder and artistic director of his own label, dedicated to forward-thinking electronic music and the development of emerging artists, continuing his long-term commitment to expanding and mentoring the next generation of producers.
