B Shade (formerly known as Jably, born Jalil Bourekba in 1978 in Fes, Morocco) is a techno music producer, DJ, and live performer. B Shade fell in love with electronic music at a young age, and started experimenting with sound design and electronic music production at the age of 14. After finishing school and getting an engineering diploma in 1999, he put his passion for music on hold to pursue a career in business and technical consulting. In 2017, Jalil as Jably returned to his passion for music, releasing his first EP Neptune Voice on the Engrave Ltd label. Since then, he has released several impressive tracks on leading labels such as Sum Over Histories, Buttress, Urge To Dance, and Multinotes. In 2022, he embraced his love for techno music and Detroit techno style, and changed his artist name to B Shade to reflect this new direction. B Shade's commitment to electronic music extends beyond his own productions. In 2019, he founded Make Noise Morocco, the first electronic music school in his home country. He is passionate about sharing his knowledge and experience with young talent, and has helped many aspiring producers and DJs to take their first steps in the world of electronic music. B Shade's music is characterized by its impeccable sound design, driving rhythms, and a signature Detroit techno style that is both nostalgic and forward-thinking. With his talent and dedication, he has become a respected figure in the electronic music scene, and is poised to make even bigger waves in the years to come.
