An avid hip hop, jazz, funk, soul, bossa nova and hi-fi enthusiast, BRUIN draws from musical roots that transcend his age to engage audiences with an eclectic mix of disco / nu-disco, US garage, and house music with many a gospel undertone. His aim is to bridge the gap between these sounds and share an emphatic feeling of togetherness & optimism through the music. Beyond the clubs, BRUIN is a resident DJ on multiple stations whilst also hosting his La Casa Discoteca radio show that explores house, disco, and the liminal space between. BRUIN's La Casa Discoteca brand also holds regular club nights, showcasing emerging talent behind the decks to crowds that boogie on down into the early hours.
