Browz & Schwander Bolivian and English born DJ / Producer Duo. With the rhythms of South America and the tech sound of Europe, Browz & Schwander arrange their DJ sets to keep the crowds grooving and obtain an atmosphere of good vibes. Live remixing and multiple track mixing allow for an energetic show and mesmerizing musical experience with their Groovy Tech-House Tribal Rhythms. Since 2013 this drum juggling duo has been working on their back to back mixing styles in order to amplify their performances. After taking a few years hiatus from the dj/music scene they decided to step back into the night life. At that time Browz & Schwander created Red Sauce Radio as a way to express their musical taste and mixing skills with the community at large. Red Sauce Radio is a Weekly Podcast which started in September of 2018 and features many of their versatile genre sets. The Podcast has also featured Guest Mixes by various local (Washington DC), Domestic (USA) and International DJs. Born in Mountain region of Bolivia, raised in the United States, Browz (Rony S.) loved music at a young age. Introduced to heavy metal by his uncle, he took an interest in playing guitar and the drums through his middle school years. Eventually Browz was introduced to the rhythmic sounds of reggae/reggaeton when he would spend summers with his uncle in New York City. He would purchase CDs of various tracks in NYC and play them back home at his high school parties. Many friends and acquaintances would invite him to events because of his collection of the latest reggae/reggaeton hits. It wasn’t until he 2013 that he took an interest in the art of DJing. Schwander took Browz under his wing and mentored him in beat matching and mixing. After months and months of practice he became the groove maker he is today. Born in England, moved to the United States, Schwander (Kenny N.) first started his love for DJing at a very young age. Watching and listening to his cousins spin on vinyl’s top hits from Michael Jackson, Pet Shop Boys, Beastie Boys and many more his love for the beat matching and song selecting came early. During the next following years he lived in Bolivia listening and learning about the native drums and music. In the early 90’s he found himself back in the U.S. and was introduced to the wheels of steel, the Technics SL-1200’s. He spent many years mixing and playing at Middle and High School parties. Finally he moved into the club scene and performed in many clubs up and down the East coast including New York, Washington DC, Miami and Atlanta. Pumping the latest House Music tunes but always including that drum sound he always grew to love as a child. A change in life events and many personal issues, Schwander had to abandon the life of a DJ, until in 2013 when he met Browz and the fire once again reignited. Browz & Schwander are currently pushing to expand their market through Washington DC, into the United States and soon enough many other countries. With their well-developed sets which include multiple loop juggling and Acapella voice overs, they work on always making every performance a special one to remember. Versatility in their genres to include and not limited to House, Afro House, Tech House, Tribal, Latin House and Techno as well as song selections from all the eras of house from the Chicago pop house of the 80’s to the Latin Tribal of the 90’s and the electronic sound of the early 2000’s. Topped off with the current Tech House and Afro House sounds makes the music and vibe of Browz & Schwander, an experience that is always keeps you wanting more…
