Born & raised in Brooklyn NY, Brian is the co-founder, producer, DJ and graphic designer of the record label Deepa Grooves. Every facet of his life has been devoted to the feeling, attitude and deep mentality of house music culture. As a DJ, Brian's mix of soulful highs and deep-tech thumps can bring a crowd to near-rapture while maintaining tight rhythms and perfect harmonies. Burnside has deejayed at some of the most well-known parties in NYC and has been infecting the West Coast as well. The Deepa production team has released pure dance floor dynamite with remixers including Quentin Harris, Atjazz, Charles Webster, Abicah soul Jay-J, Scott Wozniak and fish go deep. As well as his own touches of deep tech house mixes. Brian has also collaborated on remixes for other record labels such as Liberate Recordings , Open Bar Music & Anthem Facility/Trace. He has deejayed at some of the most well know and respected parties in NYC including Whatever Carlos Ruiz Vibal @ Cielo with Tedd Patterson, 718 Sessions @ Santos with Danny Krivit, Roots NYC @ Cielo with Louie Vega and Kevin Hedge, Funkbox @ Sullivanroom with Tony Touch The Tortured Soul Boat Ride,Turntables on the Hudson w/ Nickodemus, Shelter NYC with Timmy Regisford, Dance Here Now with Hex Hector & Jason Ojeda to name a few.
