Bracken (A.K.A Jon Nicoll) started his journey into electronic music production in 2003 always looking for the best fusion between electronic dance genres. Sticking with one style was too restrictive, and a musical upbringing from a young age resulted in a wide range of influences ranging from classical composition to heavy metal and later on to electronics. From 2014 Bracken’s production style started to gear predominantly towards underground house and techno, and using former influences started to craft a new and individual sound that incorporated crossovers between both minimal and more aggressive dance music. In 2017 Bracken started to translate his productions to a live setting and has been DJing and mixing energetic electro sets ever since. Starting his electronic performance career in small local venues he continues to hone his craft and deliver new and progressive music. With the recording of a new EP scheduled for 2021 lookout for new tracks and mixes coming to streaming platforms soon!
